Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides in Central Park

A New York City tradition since the 1800’s, an elegant horse-drawn carriage ride continues to be a beloved and popular fixture of the city’s landscape.  One of the most delightful and exciting ways to see the most famous park in the world, the clip-clopping of the gorgeous horses during the carriage ride through Central Park is symbolic of a romantic throwback to simpler times and has been enjoyed by millions of visitors and New Yorkers.  Most of these beautiful, strong horses are born and bred in the Amish Country of Pennsylvania.

All carriages are fully licensed and insured, and all NYC carriage drivers are experienced professionals who will offer a spirited and knowledgeable guided tour.

Carriage Ride Prices
Based on current New York City law, horse-drawn carriage rides are $34 (for up to 4 people) for "the first half hour or fraction and $10 for each additional 15 minutes thereafter."  The standard Central Park loop tour ride lasts about 20-minutes and includes a tour of Wollman Rink, the Carousel, Chess & Checker's House, Sheep's Meadow, The Dairy, and the Central Park Zoo.  Longer pre-arranged rides within or outside of Central Park are available upon request.  Carriage rides are also available for weddings,
